| Philip Schaff. For two decades, we’ve been trying to find a way to offer this volume to our readers. However, until now, it’s only been available as part of an eight-volume set of church history. Finally we’re able to offer this valuable work as a single volume. In it, Schaff covers virtually every aspect of the early church: church leaders, apologists, heresies, early Christian beliefs, church structure, early Christian worship, art, the catacombs, and many other subjects. As a Reformed theologian, Schaff didn’t fully appreciate the ante-Nicene Christians. However, for the most part, his history is objective.
