| This book changed my outlook on the Christian faith. Back in '98 I was coerced into reading it, but by the time that I got to the third or forth page I could not put it down. While reading I realized that my faith had been only two dimensional. This work added a third dimension, that is depth, to my faith. Outside the Bible, it is the most profound work that I have ever read, and I have recommended it to hundreds of people over the years, and recommend it to you. | ||||

I can't tell you enough how important it is to understand church history. Especially history of the first Christians. It is very beneficial for our walk with Christ as it sheds clarity and understanding on many of the New Testament's teachings.
